“It is the first link in this article straight to Labours website, entitled Conservative manifesto.”

LOL, that’s a paid advert, I’m voting Labour, but I’m not giving them free advertising!

I use the Google AdSense program to generate income from my sites, so those links (in the square box) are Google AdSense ads and I have limited control over what they show (I could block specific domains, that’s about it).

If you check this page between now and the election the links (the adverts) will change (they’ll probably change if you reload the page).

As it happens the Conservatives video ads (web Cam YouTube videos) have been showing up far more often than anything from Labour since the Conservatives have wealthy supporters like Lord Ashcroft and are presumably out bidding Labour for more ad impressions. I recall hearing the Conservatives have about twice the money as Labour for the election campaign?

I’m making more money from this site right now than all my other sites put together. Yesterday made just over £100 from AdSense revenue just from this website, since the election was called it’s gone up a lot (I have the top result for General Election Poll for example so getting a lot of search engine traffic) and the parties are starting to throw money into online advertising.

So I am unbiased, quite happy to take any of the parties campaign money for them to advertise on my site via the AdSense ads :-)
