Comment on UKIP Policies : Thought Crimes and Hate Speech by Nick.

This is one of my biggest, if not the biggest problem I have with the establishment. In today’s society, you cannot say what you want to say for fear of ending up on the wrong side of the law.
Freedom of speech is seriously jeopardised in the UK because of fascist political correctness. In a truly democratic society, everyone should have that fundamental human right to free speech. There should be no such thing as thought crime – the very idea of such a thing even existing is abhorrent and has no place in the 21st Century. In addition, as long as no physical harm is done, people should be able to say what they please. This policy of UKIP is essential to a country that wishes to be referred to as a “democracy” and it is a sad fact that our incompetent government does not agree.
“I may not agree with what you have to say but I will fight to the death for your right to say it.”
