Comment on UKIP Policies : Royal Navy by Jon Stanley.

Very concise and well thought out.

It is essential that in an era of high deficits and competing interests we have a clear plan for securing hardward for the Navy. UKIP seems the only the party that offers this.

We are increasingly seeing a swing towards a more assertive if not aggressive nationalism in many nations, especially in the Middle East and in Europe. It is essential we have an effective Navy that can offer more than coastal patrols or a Trident platform. A multirole Navy is needed more now than perhaps at any time post Suez.
