According to the UK Independence Party website UKIP will try to achieve the following if they gain power at the 2010 general election: The UK Independence Party is calling for a five-year freeze on immigration into Britain and a future policy that would see migrants controlled by a points system similar to that operated by […]

I have lost trust in both the old parties, Blair ‘took the doors off’ in 1997, and we have seen the results in the 2011 census results, and Cameron has ‘gone soft’ and is clearly afraid of the ‘bleeding hearts’ who want to carry on flooding the country with more of the ilk of Abu Quatada and Anjem Choudry, those who want to undermine our way of life. Roll on the next general election..
You have my vote
I do believe UKIP has got it right, I wrote to UKIP Head Office a few years ago and suggested a points system on immigration just like Canada and Australia, and I am pleased this is now in their manifesto.
When we signed up to the common market it was a very different organisation to what it is today, completely un-democratic and not only do we have to get out of the EU but also we need to put this country right. The EU has far more to lose by us leaving the EU and we have everything to gain.
Immigration
Your immigration policies make so much sense.
I am not that political but I do worry about many issues at the moment. It seems to me that the policies that you propose would solve other problems that we are facing at the present time.
This suggestion would alleviate our housing shortage, the escalating school numbers and maybe would reduce the need for a further runway.
The legislation coming out of Brussels is only causing us more harm so the idea of coming out of the EU becomes more and more attractive every day.
My vote will go to UKIP next time. I know many other well educated, knowledgeable people who will also be voting to come out of the EU
UKIP Immigration Policies Make Sense
We currently live in a 2 bed house having downsized from a 3 bed house. Due to illness I am unable to work and at the age of 53 have little chance of gaining employment, I receive the minimum DLA. My husband has worked all his life until the recession which was caused by the Governments mismanagement of the economy and the greed of the banks put him out of business. We lost everything. My husband has been told by the job centre that they cannot place him due to his severe sleep apnea, he has to wear a mask at night, sometimes sleeping in the other room as it can be noisy and it keeps me awake,I already suffer from chronic fatigue. He does not receive anY benefits for this. Now I am subject to the BEDROOM TAX. The government allowed disability benefits to be used in calculating income, this is a disgrace. The only reason that there is a shortage in housing is because thousands of immigrants are being allowed to come here and be housed at the expense of local people and the poorest and most disadvantaged are being made to pay for the governments mismanagement. How can there be enough money to send 55million a day to europe but not enough to look after your own people? It’s wrong on so many levels.
Homes and benefits
UKIP represent a narrow minded view of the reason the country is in difficulty. There is not a housing crisis due to immigrants. It is due to wealthy people stock piling homes and leaving them empty and wealthy landlords abusing people who have no choice but to rent substandard housing as this government ( and ukip? ) have no fair rent policies and just look after their own.
People who can afford to be in this country, working, from Europe may well be some of these ‘ wealthy’ people. I do not want a government that makes up its policies as it goes along. I do not want a government that disagrees with freedom of movement in Europe and then it’s politicians take a huge wage and expenses from that political management system . You have it wrong firing up the people ,a distraction technique called divide and rule. Been used by politicians for centuries don’t fall for it.
Housing Crisis is NOT Due to Immigrants
