I do like this policy as it is a “No Work No Visa” policy.

If you have a job and somewhere to live provided by your employer then fine. If not, then go somewhere else.

I wonder whether the UK would be such an attractive place to come if you can’t apply for social housing or any kind of benefit (such as Asylum Support)when you first arrive.

I would also stop giving the golden prize of a British Passport until you have been working and paying into the system for a minimum of 10 years.
