While I can see an advantage to proportional representation for the smaller parties ukip etc. the only advantage of av would be collecting all the second votes for one of the major parties when the minority party is removed . I for one will not be tricked into casting a vote (albeit 2nd) to bolster the votes of a party I dont want in power. This system manipulates the voting system to the advantage of the condems
