UKIP to call for ban on wearing burka – Telegraph August 2010
Aussie’s got it spot on,
They say, “we didn’t ask you over, if you don’t like our ways go back to your culture”.
This is a pointless exercise,
Caleb please refrain from allowing your aggressive ways to be projected towards a fellow English man just because you know he’s correct.
If you like Muslim culture so much and want to your temples, and to wear the old Burka’s,
Just go home!!!!
But I bet you don’t want to!!! its full of argumentative, unreasonable, suppressing, un-caring people who want things their own way..
In other words its full of people like yourselves,
If Muslim culture is so good why arnt you living there,, go on go back enjoy my friends..
And let us lead our miserable lovely English ways in our lovely English country, and I promise I wont come over there, and try to turn it into England.
(Mind you our lick ar~se government is trying to do this in Iraq, morons they are as bad as you are) when we pull out of Iraq hopefully you will pull out of the uk how about that, fair ? lets call it a truce..
No one has the right to tell another country how to live it is their country, their rule’s, this is why I apologise to you for us over there! in the Muslim country, our government is a puppet to the yanks,
If you want to stone your women, slaughter your goats in the street, make your wives cover up because you gave them a slapping last night.
Its your right!!!, sounds lovely over there, not my cup of tea, but I don’t plan on going over.

Why resort to lowering the tone of the discussion by suggesting Caleb is a Muslim from Iraq and as an Iraqi Muslim shouldn’t be living in England?
You sound like a typical BNP voter!
Since Caleb’s my 13 year old son who I recently gave this website to (he’s more interested in politics than I am!) I’m reasonably confident he’s never been to Iraq (certainly not born there, as he was born in East Sussex) and isn’t Muslim (not that that would be an issue for me).
He’s one of the majority of the tolerant British born people who make this country such a great place to live.
I disagree with anyone being forced to wear anything for religious reasons, but if a society bans something like the Burka when there are women who CHOOSE to wear it, it makes that society no better than those who force women into wearing such an item.
Please explain how forcing a woman not to wear a Burka is better/different than forcing a woman to wear a Burka?

ROFL John thinks I’m a Muslim.
Caleb
mp hollobone has a point we should be allowed to identify not just so we know the person under the burka but for legal perp if you wear a burka and you run a red light you first need to be identified that you was driving pretty hard with a mask on its not a religious aspect of it all in my view if i was to walk down the street in a hockey mask evently the police would stop me wondering why if i have no other equiptment hollobone can not support his people if he dont really know who hes talking to you can be anyone under it last time i check muslim is a faith, belief not a race how can he be racist on a lifestyle, way of life race is A local geographic or global human population distinguished as a more or less distinct group by genetically transmitted physical characteristics burka is a religious item nothing else.

are you suggesting that motorcyclists should not be allowed to wear helemts?
I think you’ll find that motor cyclists are asked to remove their helmets when entering most buildings.
Firstly, I’m not sure what someone’s choice of clothing has to do with race; before making potentially libellous remarks about someone you could make that clear.
And secondly do you think Jack Straw should face the same consequences? After all, he requested that women remove veils before meeting him.
