The town of Wootton Bassett is associated with honouring soldiers killed in Afghanistan, every time a fallen soldier returns home the town comes out in force to honor our loss. Very patriotic and no matter how you feel about the Afghanistan war what happens in Wootton Bassett is a very moving event. Makes me proud […]
Continue Reading Should the Government Ban the Islam4UK Wootton Bassett March Poll
Islam4uk want to march through the town of Wooten Bassett in what can only be described as an offensive insult to the memory of all our troops killed in Labours illegal war. Any right thinking person will find this disgusting and only the BNP will act against these hate preachers. You can call us racists etc till the cows come home but you cannot call the BNP liars! We have a serious problem and it needs to be addressed!

I’ve seen Islam 4 UK mentioned before in the comments, but not looked at their site before at http://www.islam4uk.com/
So this is my first look at Islam4uk.
I’m a search engine optimisation consultant, that means I get websites ranked high in search engines, in particular Google. I know how to build a popular website and can spot popular websites as well.
The Islam 4 UK domain was registered May 2008 (18 months old). That’s more than enough time to get a website ranked well in Google etc… and so if there’s people out there looking for what’s on that site and there’s a lot of support for the site (many people linking to it) they’ll get a lot of traffic.
I’m telling this to a BNP organiser, you know how popular your parties main website is, lots of hits, lots of comments.
Looking through the Islam4uk site strongly suggests it’s not got much of a following. There’s a set of articles for non Muslims:
1 A BRIEF GUIDE TO ISLAM FOR NEW MUSLIMS
2 Buckingham Palace Under the Shariah
3 The Death of the Adult Industry Under the Shari’ah
4 Trafalgar Square Under the Shari’ah
5 Can you take the Heat of Hellfire?
6 Baseless British Values
7 Why We do not Get Out of Your Country
8 Drugged up Britain
9 Jesus Is Alive
10 The Race Problem
11 British Legal System Vs Shari’ah
12 Islam on violence and terrorism
13 Are you as intelligent as you think?
14 Career: A Modern Slavery
15 The Devil’s Deception of Thug Life
16 Why Hindus Should Embrace Islam
17 Education Under the Shari’ah
18 Justice Under Islam
19 Which Bible?
20 8 principles to realise the existence of God
21 By Chance?
Look through the hits for each page and number of comments, they are relatively low for an 18 month old website. BTW I didn’t look through them all, sampled them.
Considering the controversy around Islam4uk I’d expect a lot more from this domain IF there was a lot of support for it’s views. Especially with articles on places like https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/6334091/Muslims-want-sharia-law-in-Britain-claim.html about them.
Islam4uk appear to be an irrelevance to British politics, we’ll never take on those ideas in Britain.

The Wooton Basset march is something I can actually agree with you on Roger, Islam4UK a VERY small minority group but none the less they should NOT go ahead with this as it shows clear disrespect for the people of Wooton Basset, the dead soldiers that have come back through their and for the families as well.
Although I did hear last night the the local council and police are so far saying they will ban any planned march anyway so shouldn’t be an issue.

Yet the recent EDL march in Luton was banned immediatly? Another sign that our current government panders to the minority instead of the majority
Whether Gordon bans it or not, I am voting for Cameron, because at least he WOULD stand up for us! Brown is a money-wasting, one-eyed, Euro-freak idiot! Vote Tory!!
I will not deny the fact that I have voted yes to the above poll because I believe that although they live in this country and therefore have the right to freedom of speech, they should not form a march in protest of the war in the middle east through Wootton Bassett. By all means I have no objection to them forming a march in protest but the location that they have chosen has clearly been chosen to upset the local community, and therefore the rest of the British Military supporters, and not to show that they are marching for the rights of Islam. I, as the son of a currently serving member of the British Army, am very strongly against the march and I hope that the government do see what is right and vote against the march.

No need to be worried about admitting you voted NO, I certainly did as well, they should in no way be allowed to hold any kind of march, if they want to make a political statement they should apply to do that at parliment as they are the people that make the choices to go to war not the soldiers or the people of Wootton Bassett

Neither Cameron or Brown have got a clue about what the real british people want. There is only 1 party that understand the real reason for the state Britan is in now, only 1 party that will not allow this march. Freedom of speach is a british right, but disprespecting the country you live in and the soldiers that protect us is not, anyone that lives in this country should be gratfull and respect our lads out there. Do not let this march happen, it is a total discrace.

If people like mr choudary dont like the uk then please leave because the uk dont need you. I think islam4uk should be removed from this country.
I thought the government was going to deport extremists from our country ?
Cameron and brown have no backbone what so ever i still think they are both still commited to islamification of this country of ours and if brown holts the protest then it for his own selfishness and not for the britishness.
This is just a taster of what going to happen in the near future. If like a few of you are mr and mrs know it all on this site who praise cameron and brown then if you have laid your bed then sleep in it, As im very very fortunate to be able to move abroad with my children and give them a taste of life while britain becomes a laughing stock .
I am british and i have grandads and grandfathers who have fought for this country and died to give me and many millions this way of life.

I think that they should march, then they can be all rounded up at the same time and shipped to whichever cesspit hole of a country shares their ideals:-)
“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” (Attributed to Voltaire)
Democracy and freedom of speech are like pregnancy – you can’t just have the bits you like.
I abhor everything that Islam4UK stand for, but I strongly believe that we should be making a stand to protect what little remains of our ancient rights and that includes the “right” to be insulted and provoked!
Let these fanatical adherents of their moon goddess cult march through OUR streets and let even more people see that their is no reasoning with these people, who sole purpose is to eventually turn the UK into an islamic republic.
If they marched it would be very interesting to observe how many of the so-called “overwhelming majority of peace-loving muslims” (an oxymoron if ever there was one) would stand with the indigenous Brits and express their outrage at their “brothers and sisters” behaviour.
As an aside, I would point out that although I support our brave troops 100%, I most definitely do not support the illegal invasion of any sovereign nation that is not a direct threat to British interests, and that includes Afghanistan. However, what Islam4UK seem to be conveniently brushing aside is the fact that muslims kill more of their own kind than the combined efforts of the USA, UK and the rest of the world put together. “Religion of peace” it ain’t!

So how do you feel about the BNP Leader (Nick Griffin, Andrew Brons and Richard Barnbrook) having put out a statement that they intend to physically block this march:
““defend Wootton Bassett and the memory of our fallen heroes. Nick Griffin MEP, Andrew Brons MEP and Richard Barnbrook AM will block the path of the Muslim fanatics.”
Do you think is will help settle the issue or just provoke the Islam4UK people to be more determined to push ahead with the march, even though the local MP/Justice Secretary and other local officials have already stated that they will do their best to block/ban the march, do you think (like me) that the latest statement from the BNP will just cause more problems and force Islam4UK to be more determined to get the march to happen?

Normally Chelsey I’d be the one writing a comment like yours, but this is not a simple case of a group wanting to have a political march down Downing street to highlight a cause, they have chosen Wootton Bassett to cause offense and that’s wrong.
If Islam4UK want to protest to Parliament and break no laws in the process, that’s good for democracy. A march through Wootton Bassett by Islamic extremists would be like the EDL having a march through a Mosque during their prayers, it’s going too far!
Wootton Bassett has almost become a religious event and no one has a right to infringe on a groups peaceful religious gathering (I’m an atheist). I wouldn’t be surprised if when the Afghanistan war is over Wootton Bassett holds a procession every year to honor the dead.
I would have also been interested to see both how many Islam4UK supporters turned up and how many moderate Muslims turn out in protest against the Islam4UK march.

The problem is David if Islam4UK do go ahead with it, now we know the BNP intends to show up which means the EDL will show up which in turn means the UAF will show up and we all know what will happen then they will between them all destroy the town (if it turns nasty), which then will in turn cost millions to put right.
I notice David Cameron and Gordon Brown have both said they appose the march now, I just hope that GB takes it one step further and declares as soon as possible that it will not even be considered in the first place, this is the only logical solution to the problem that will become an even bigger problem should it go ahead.
