Even though as you know I do support the UK’s membership of the EU I do also agree that the only way to actually settle the question once and for all is to hold a referendum to ask the country for it’s opinion (I would obviously campaign and vote to stay in), but I do agree that it would settle the argument once and for all.

But that said the BNP in my opinion are NOT the party to make that happen as for one it will be (and I hope you agree with this) that it is going to be realistically 15-20 years before the BNP have any real power base in parliment (by power base I mean they need at least 100 MPs elected to have any real say, hence why the LibDems get no real say at the moment).

So if people are holding out hope that the BNP are the only party that can make it happen they are going to have to wait a long long time for it to be a reality (and that’s just to get the vote on the issue), so in reality would you agree that people like yourself would be better served in voting for a more EU Sceptic party and once they are elected push for a referendum using the Gov’s petition system I would suggest that if lets say 5 million people signed such a petition it could not be ignored by the Gov of the day.

So to make what some people want a reality wouldn’t the best option be to vote for the Tories who are likely to win anyway but are more EU sceptic than Labour?

As for my main reasons for not voting BNP yes it has something to do with the history of the party and people like Nick Griffin/Lee Barnes/Mark Collett/Artur Kemp and some other leading BNP people, but my main objections are based on un realistic polices like Protectionism, sending the Education System back 20 years when we should be moving forward and many other un workable policy that will effect business and jobs across the country.
