### By saying why no St George’s day meant why no bank holiday?##
Everything rotates around the EU. The latest orders are now to give immigrants cash when they land on our shores!
The Human Rights Act has more benefit to the Criminal than it does to its victims. Surely it is quite reasonable. If an immigrant comes to our Country and abuses our rules and laws then it is only right we ask them to leave after sentence.
If they plead The right to a Family, should they have not considered that before abusing our Hospitality? If they are in danger of reprissals back in their own land, Should they not have thought about that before committing their Crimes here on our land? The Human rights Act were put in place to protect everyone in principle but like all dreams in the politicle World they just do not work out in the long run! Just look at communisim and the misery that has caused in the World.
The dream of a European state when first discussed was to bring peace to Europe and allow its people simply to trade with each other in a fair way. Through the fiddles and dishonesty its MEP members are so far up into corruption and have got away with it for so long they have become arrogant to the truth.
It seems only Nigel Farage is on our side, For those who have not watched him at work giving Barruso and Rumpy Rumpole hell are missing a treat.
Leave the EU
Cameron needs to get us out now!
There is absolutelyno advantage for Britain o be in the European union.
We actually buy more from them than we sell.
Secondlyif theGovernments are being honest about the Carbon Footprint used to justify the high taxeson fuel which have pushed up further the cost of living, then why are we moving fruit and food products around on lorries from one eu country to another and buying goods from each other which could in all cases be produced and purchased locally?.
The European Union was brought about to line the pocketsof the polititions,,,and yesWE THE PEOPLE HAVETO FOOT THE BILL
Why if tey are honest don’t they let us have a referendum?BECAUSE THE MAJORITY WANT OUT!!!
WE MUST TAKE TO THE STREETS LIKE LIBYIA THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT AGREED WITH THAT IT WAS DEMACRATIC SO THEY WILL APPRECIATE IT WHEN WE DO THE SAME.
EU GREAT FOR THE POLITITIONSBAD FOR THE PEOPLE
Im European, not British. I think that Britain and its interesest do not benefit other European countries. De Gaulle lived for a long time there, and he stated that Britain is not Europe and would always boycott all progress in Europe. Britain protect itself and USA interests. Britain has the legematicy to do this, but not distort European stability with their vetos etc.Europe should have a stark central bank, with controls and norms, in order to avoid financial abuses. Britain can maintain its city, without legal norms, financial abuses: a precarious social system and a “richest cast”. If British agree, who cares? I think they had to leave us. We will see what happens with the European union, it will be difficult without UK, but it is more important to know who is really for the project than too many countries without a common project.
Bye bye Britain, and thanks a lot
I would like that Britain leave the EU
I totally agree.
An italian woman
David Cameron you need to man up and do the right thing for this Country and depart the EU asap
Davis Cameron is correct the euro messed every other contry that used it about so why would we want to go down that road we could keep the pound and stay in EU if the EU dont want that then f**k them :)
I agree that Britain should leave the euro as they are holding back other people in Europe, and their debts are being paid out by other countries even though they have not signed up to any referendums, it’s so unfair to other europeon countries, David Cameroon is a hypocrite, who will not give the British people a voice to speak their minds and give them a referendum, selfish man.
Britain should leave the euro
Have you ever heard of Switzerland being in recession? They are not in the EU.
The things people forget are that it costs £50 million a DAY in contributions….what could we do with that money? Well we could certainly look after our pensioners, we could boost the Welfare system, the NHS, our ‘Font Line’ services etc etc.
Also we would have available work for British Citizens for school leavers. Have places in our schools for children (they may be facing part time education shortly).
Something MAJOR people forget….those immigrants who come here, have children here….those children become British Nationals with a dual passport and are entitled to remain or return here.
Those immigrants are claiming benefits, taking up housing required by our own using resources of the NHS, schools, taking jobs and basically the bread from our mouths.
Immigrants are not always law abiding (neither are some UK citizens) but it is costing thousands to keep them in our prisons…they should be deported on conviction along with their families.
Now we are due to open the ‘flood gates’ to even more next year. The UK is sinking under the weight.
We should come out and the quicker the better
We should not have ever joined the EU before we did my area where I lived at the time had over a thousand jobs going , admitted half was seasonal but still that suited some people .. but when we joined the EU all of the jobs got taken up not by locals but by the massive influx of every nationality going.. Employers liked this as they could offer lower wages when advertising any jobs .. years on the local people are stuck on benefits because there are no jobs going.
Now if you go to cafe’s restaurants and shops, all the care services and factories, even the hospitals … all you get are foreign speaking people taking British jobs ..This only benefites the europeans so the work force from there had more places to go and get a job saving their governments money Can you tell me how has that benefited the ordinary BRITISH person ??
Should Britain leave the European Union
I totally agree
It seems from the latest comment made by France that we no nothing about Europe as we are an Island, leads me to beleive that France has learned nothing over the years. We fight on our own while France and most of the others in Europe stands back like vultures until the final stages then nip in to grab what they can. It seems they do not beleive in true Democracy either!
Immigrations latest news is that our border agency purposly let in immigrants at busy entry times! Labour what did you do to us?
Equality in the EU
Some MPs have subsequently claimed that `Parliament can do whatever it likes’. But that isn’t true, of course. Parliament consists of a number of individual MPs who have been elected by their constituents to represent them. Political parties are not recognised in our system of government and Parliament does not have the right to change the whole nature of Britain’s constitution. We have (or are supposed to have) an elective democracy not an elective dictatorship. Parliament may, in law and in day to day issues, be the sovereign power in the state, but the electors are (in the words of Dicey’s `Introduction for the Study of the Law of the Constitution’ published in 1885) `the body in which sovereign power is vested’. Dicey goes on to point out that `in a political sense the electors are the most important part of, we may even say are actually, the sovereign power, since their will is under the present constitution sure to obtain ultimate obedience.’ Bagehot, author of The English Constitution, 1867, describes the nation, through Parliament, as `the present sovereign’.
In 1972, when Heath decided to take Britain into the Common Market, he used Parliament’s legal sovereignty to deny and permanently limit the political sovereignty of the electorate. Heath and Parliament changed the basic rules and they did not have the right (legal or moral) to do that. The 1972 European Communities Bill wasn’t just another Act of Parliament. Heath’s Bill used Parliament’s legal sovereignty, and status as representative of the electorate, to deny the fundamental rights of the electorate.
Precedents show that the British constitution (which may not be written and formalised in the same way as the American constitution is presented) but which is, nevertheless, enshrined and codified in the Magna Carta (1215), the Petition of Right (1628), the Bill of Rights (1689) and the Act of Settlement (1701) requires Parliament to consult the electorate directly where constitutional change which would affect their political sovereignty is in prospect. (The 1689 Bill of Rights contains the following oath: `I do declare that no foreign prince, person, prelate, state or potentate hath or ought to have jurisdiction, power, superiority, pre-eminence or authority within this Realm.’ Since this Bill has not been repealed it is clear that every treaty Britain has signed with the EU has been illegal.)
Yes we should leave now.
We were lied to
This country would be better off if we left the eu, we should never of became part of it when the first referendum was given to join we were lied to, not once did they say our country would become over crowded with all of europes waste and become over populated, Not being a member this country would thrive on its own saving at least 68 billion pound a year which we currently put into europe, Cameron grow some balls and give the choice if we stay or go back to the people who put you into power you are suppose to represent us not yourself its a democracy not a dictatorship
EU we should go
Too many foreign workers taking all jobs, houses etc.Good for economy…i dont think so…they dont spend there money here, they send it back to there country to save. Every month unemployment going up.I could go on for years about this.Britain needs to be Britain again…
The EU needs us more than we need it. If as a country we done a lot more local trading then we would all benefit through improved distribution of money which would in turn improve the health of our economy, and UK Citizens quality of life.
The only thing the EU serves are the parasitic MEPs who are usually unelected wives or some other peripheral connection to an MP.
The EU is a failure lets get back to our own concerns, and let the garlic munching surrender monkeys pretend they are on the mythical world stage while we get back to real business.
They need us more than we need them
