If police get guns, the criminals get guns. What good would that do? All it would mean is that there would be more police deaths and times when the burgular would have to be shot. Killing someone should always be the absolute final option, and so should having a gun.
Why is having a gun a right? What good does it do you? How many of you who own a gun have actually had to use it? And don’t give me the “Guns deter criminals, that’s why I haven’t had to use it” because I don’t have a gun and my house has never been broken into. The only person I know who’s been broken into wasn’t in at the time, what use would a gun do then? Most likely the criminal would steal your gun and then go around using it on others, and it would then be in your name. What a “freedom”.
