Comment on Reasons to Vote Labour by VoteNo ToBNP.

I think i’ve said before that I have been a Labour vote for pretty much all my life, recently changed slightly due to some of the bloody annoying things Brown and co have managed to do recently.

So in the last by-election in our area I went through all the policies at the time and came down on the side of the Tories.

But as we get closer to the election and the actual formal policies start to take real shape and some of the detail start to become clear the Tory policies are becoming a little too drastic and could cause a double dip recession.

Whilst I agree wholeheartedly that we need to make cuts in public services I think the Tories may just take that too far and cause issues the other end of the economy.

So right now I consider myself a floating voter, as I think Labour are currently making a mistake in the current proposal to change the voting system should they win, imo that is NOT the way we need to go.

I’m actually at the mo looking toward a hung parliment I think the LibDems have some good policies that unless we have a hung parliment they won’t get a chance to give a try to, but if we have a hung parliment we could see a few of the better LibDem policies getting on the books (althougb this has a downside too considering the new voting system that Brown has put up)

One of the other issues I currently have with Labour is Gordon Brown himself, the staged election with the one horse race set-up when he became leader because of the previous deal between Blair and Brown that really got on my tits to be frank, up un till that point I had been a paid up member of the Labour party since 1995, I haven’t considered renewing that since then.

But even though personally a Tory Government would make me better off financially, I look further than that and what I see isn’t as good as it was before the “modifications” were made.

So floating voter :)
