Comment on Reasons to Vote British National Party by David.

Some BNP supporters are pathetic, just found one that’s posted under 13 user names under one IP address, how dumb can you get, one click and I’ve found them all!

If that person makes one more post under another name will block the IP so they can’t even view the site.

The sites getting a LOT of visitors now, 25,000 a day, after the live TV debate last night there was so many visitors the MYSQL server (database for the site) crashed!

Have opened comments up completely, no longer needing me to approve a persons first comments so conversations from new visitors can be almost real time now. Leaves the comment system more open to abuse, so I’m checking more often than before which means more will get caught out.

So far other than when you was winding up BNP supporters posting under an almost supporting the BNP pseudonym there’s only been one non BNP commenter using more than one name extensively!

I get the odd person that will make a couple of comments over a week or two that uses different names (you expect that, they might not recall what name they originally posted under), but no serious abuses like what the BNP supporters have been doing to try to make it look like there’s hundreds of BNP commenter’s on this site!

Do you remember the BNP supporter Potter that posted here? Posted over a dozen spammy comments one day on this site and another site of mine (about not having the BNP as part of the poll) which I deleted. Went on to accuse me on the main BNP website of banning her/him from this site, lying BNP troll!

It’s a sad indictment for what the people who vote BNP think about free speech and British democracy when they abuse and try to pervert it so freely.

Alternative Vote Better than First Past the Post

Although I don’t particularly like the Alternative Vote system (I agree with Nick, a miserable little compromise) it’s at least better than First Past the Post voting system.
