I actually laughed out loud when I was called a chip off the old block, try telling that to him!
He can’t bear to admit the the total mess that they, “labour”, have got Britain into and despite occasionally admitting they have made the odd mistake, he is in denial that they have continually lied & cheated over the last 12 years or so, and is not prepared to vote for a change!
Again I’m never saying that Labour is perfect. I do keep track of politics and know the amazing history and sacrifices behind the right to vote, yet right now I’m not 100% sure I’m going to. I don’t like Labour or Conservative, and if I did vote Labour it would be a mere lesser evil. Their immigration policy is rather lax and silly at the moment, only with their tendancy of abolishing human rights and sillyness. However the BNP’s solution is cutting the throat to spite the face, and would be the equivalent of 1930 Germanic solution to the high influx of Jews in the financial sector.
He continually knocks the BNP rather than admitting that most of their policies are what the average British voter wants, calling that populist!! Sure the BNP are not perfect, BUT at least they are trying to do something for Britain, not selling us down the river whilst feathering their own nests!!
If the average British voter agreed with the BNP, they would have far more then 0.7% of the vote (Unless somehow 97.3% of the country is already ‘Islamified….’)
BNP haven’t proved themselves to be more honest then the current batch of MP’s. And as stated before with the parties history of outright trickery and lying, there is indication it would get worse. (Many examples have been given on this websites with credible sources.)
Yet all the dogooders say is “send them more money”, “allow them to come here”! Many of these 3rd world leaders are totally corrupt & either pocket the money themselves or spend it on buying arms for genocidal wars, not looking after their own people!
I’d agree with this comment, although again BNp’s solution is far too radical, and on an international stage we can’t just say ‘screw the world’, since we depend as a country on trade, which requires some kind of international standing.
[Lot of global warming stuff]
And how exactly can the BNP stop this without taking over the world? No matter what government comes into power here, we can’t stop what other countries do without millitary action?
@terence: Actually you did. When you voted in the last election, you gave your ‘say’ in what party should make the countries decisions. The majority of the population voted Tory and Labour, therefore Majority of the people support their actions. This is how democracy works. Just because you are you, doesn’t mean your say is more important than anyone else’s. Not everyone’s say and thoughts can be done, therefore some people are always going to be unhappy, only the majority can be pleased. If people are overall unhappy with the decisions, they will vote otherwise next election.
However what the BNP did in that case was strictly against the law.
It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried. – Sir Winston Churchill
