Comment on Reasons to Vote British National Party by David.

I think one thing we can all agree on politicians generally are liars, Labour, Conservative, Lib Dems, UKIP, Greens, BNP…. the people who want to be our MP’s are liars, because that’s how they gain power. Some are worse than others, but they all do it, if they told the full truth they’d never get power.

We all know after the next general election whoever gets power, they will have no choice but to reduce services and raise more money some how. We are in massive debt and less people are in work meaning less taxes to pay for services.

Whoever wins won’t go with direct taxes, no we’ll get hidden ones that makes it almost impossible to determine which of the parties would tax us least (not that lowest taxes is a reason why I’d vote for a party), that’s assuming they actually tell us in advance how they’ll raise money.

Even though we all know this we’ll still as a nation put our X against the party that tells the best lies that match closest to what we want to hear.

Look at the Liberal Democrats when they have in the past told us they will raise income tax etc… for better services, did they get more votes? Nope, the country wants to be told they can get an increased level of public services while also reducing the cost of those same services!

If the BNP had any MP’s and a realistic chance of gaining a reasonable amount of power (like the Lib Dems have) they’d be no different with their promises. Right now they can be wishy washy with their pledges, like pulling out of the EU will solve loads of problems, stopping immigration will solve loads of problems, it’s really naive, they’ll at least create as many problems as it solves, but it’s what some people want to hear and there’s not a great deal of difference to what the main parties say on taxes and services as the BNP says on immigration (it’s all BS to get votes).
