I missed the last election debate in Bristol. I do not like feeling ‘manipulated’ and would prefer not to be ‘spun’. So much fakery. Over the years I have taken each election as ‘it came’. I have consistently voted the same way (but was prepared not to!) Vote where your heart leads: the policies, your own potential M.P. If you are happy with your M.P. why vote to change him/her? Don’t be ‘owned’ by anyone. This is u.k., we are not voting for a president, content counts more than looks and ‘charisma’. I will probably vote lib dem (again) but not because the party seems to be ‘flavour of the month’, but because I most agree with their policies. It isn’t right to vote one way just because you wish to be on the winning side. Just vote for who you want to win, regardless of tactics. That way we might get some wonderful surprises!
