Completely agree, the Human Rights Act is a scourge from the EU Convention on Human Rights / Charter of Fundamental Rights giving further recourse to criminals who fail legally in the UK.

I believe the Conservatives are proposing a Sovereignty Bill and full opt-out (only with full agreement of all other EU members) which is supposed to allow UK law to take precedence. Interesting to see if they did and what sanctions the UK would receive for their actions!
