‘Labour are great if your’e on benefits’
Obviously you don’t know much about the New Deal programme. I give Labour credit for introducing minimum wage, but New Deal involves forcing claimants to go through hour after hour of pointless and soul destroying tasks and doing unpaid work which amounts to exploitation. If a claimant is late, even with a valid reason there are draconian measures. Bullying people into work is not the answer and you are deluded if you think it is. In Britain today unemployment is being criminalised.
As for people taking ‘responsibility for themselves’ do you really think claimants enjoy being vilified constantly and being treated as inferior? Many claimants do voluntary work and contribute to society. They just don’t happen to have a paid job. Of course Tory voters like you are too ignorant and self-righteous to bother acknowledging this. You prefer to tar an entire minority with the same brush. You are a bigot, plain and simple. I suggest you get yourself educated on these matters.
