Far right political groups in the UK (throughout Europe) are concerned at what they see as the spread of the Islam/Muslim faith, the so called Islamification of Britain/Europe/America et al. The concern is the Islam/Muslim faith will replace the current main faiths (Christian, Catholic etc…) and way of life and even laws in those countries. […]

I’m voting BNP – have any of you detractors seen the islamic cess pools that some of our inner cities have become? wirh a mosque on every corner? – it is a disgrace.
Who cares if there’s a mosque on every corner? Where I live is pretty religious, too. The only difference is that the religion here is Christianity. It’s good that people are spiritual and pro-community. Muslims and Christians tend to be that way inclined, as do many other people, regardless of religion. You sound like someone who doesn’t give a toss about their fellow human beings. People who use the mosques are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, husbands and wives. Children of all denominations in your local schools play with each other, argue about Match Attack cards, talk about their favourite bands…If kids can do it, why can’t you?

Only Men are allowed in mosques, it isn’t for the whole family like the Christian faith, women are not allowed to do anything without the husbands permission they are second class or probably lower just breeding machines for men.
Only men are allowed into mosques? Since when???? I understand that Islamic men and women worship God separately, and that the children go with the women. That is the same in Judaism.
I personally think that men and women should be treated equally in society. They’re not in our society are they? Women are treated as second class citizens because employers just expect them to leave and have children. They are paid less and offered less career advancement. You can expect your career to come to a grinding halt once you have kids.
In Muslim and Jewish society it seems that women are not considered equal, that they have to cover their heads etc. But that is an extreme example. It’s an example highlighted by the media. It is NOT necessarily the norm! None of the Jewish people in my family have shaved their heads or wear a wig or are expected to do so. Nor have I ever met any Jews that do this. None of the Jewish children that my friend teaches has a mother who shaves her head or wears a wig. She does work with a woman who wears a head scarf, but she has chosen to do this, it was not something that her husband expected her to do. Similarly, I have never taught a Muslim child whose mother wears one of the head coverings that covers her face.
I think you should spend more time getting to know the people in your community before you criticise them. Who are you to tell other people how to live their lives? If you’re Welsh, and someone tells you that in no circumstances you would be allowed to wear a Welsh rugby shirt, would that stop you? No way! In fact, you’d wear it more often! Your attitude would be “I can wear what I like and whose business is it what I wear?”. I believe that this is why more Muslim ladies are wearing those face-covering headdresses – it’s a backlash caused by the British media.
If you think that the Islamic and Jewish religions are not equal and fair religions, you don’t have to become a Muslim or Jew – but you’ve no right to stop other people doing so.

The muslims have an agenda to create a global islamic state (KHALIFA). This is achieved through either warfare or stealth (now as huge population explosions as seen in europe- UK take heed!).
I shdder with disbelief when i hear people say islam is peaceful & its a few that spoil its name. Rubbish- Have you even picked up the Koran, hadiths (biography of their prophet mohamed), or Sunna (mohameds sayings etc)??? IT teaches open warfare, deceit against the unveliever! Which other “holy” texts says “kill the unbeliever wherever you find them” and “when u go to foreign lands, pretent to be complient with their ways, but always remember your agenda in your heart”…. these are shocking!!!
Also, they are permitted to practice lying (al-TAQQUIA) to profit islam & themselves…
WAKE UP UK ….

Islam is the enemy of freedom, therfore it is my enemy!
To be fair, Islam isn’t such a hateful religion as it is made out. Not every Muslim is a terrorist, is a stereotype which people must get out of their heads. However, when one comes into Great Britain, they should feel welcome and abide by our laws. What annoys me is the lady who got sued for wearing a crucifix is awful, yet workplaces allow Muslims to wear the hijabb. My friend is a Muslim, and my cousin by marriage. However, some Muslims not all as it’s wrong to stereotype are against Nativity plays and schools are beginning to ban them which is absolutely ludicrous! If they don’t want to participate don’t, but don’t threaten our traditional British way of life!

Islam, in liberal forms, is fine. I also have no real problem if Muslims wish to arbitrate issues under Sharia law PROVIDING: (a) they do not seek to impose Sharia on the wider community; and (b) all parties involved are FULLY INFORMED, and give FULL CONSENT (i.e. they weren’t coerced into it).
When Islam is imposed upon the wider community, it then becomes a threat to British culture; this stands true of any “alien” culture. The current extent of multiculturalism is, therefore, a little too much. To give a poor analogy (apologies), non-native cultures to a country (ANY country) is like adding salt (or any other seasoning) to a meal: in moderation it can be good, but too much spoils the meal.
Overall, NONE of those options are truly apt. Do I think that Muslim immigration should be encouraged? No. But do I think it should be outright halted either? Well, no. It only becomes a real threat (as stated above) when in its most extreme forms, where it is imposed on people, or where it occurs en mass.
Of course, in countries that are Islamic (whether you agree with Islam or not), they should have just as much right to keep their religion/culture.

A very reasoned response, I particularly like your analogy, adding a controlled amount of multiculturalism enhances our country (I like a not too hot curry :-)), but too much, too quickly is damaging.
That’s why we have controls on immigration.
David
I don’t like curry, and I do not like being forced to eat it, and I do not like it spread all over the place.
It is acceptable in its proper place, so if I want it I can go there and order some.
Curry is everywhere these days, school meals, hospital meals, even in the high street cafe.
Curry can burn you badly if you eat too much of it. Some of it is so hot it explodes.
It can take your hand off, or your head. You have to be very careful when dealing with curry.
In fact, come to think of it, I much prefer sausage
and mash, with a little Christian salt of the earth.
That would be rendered inedible if you spread curry all over it.
And what immigration controls?
I didn’t realise we had any, judging by the amount of red hot curry around.

Could you write that again in English.
David, you said “That’s why we have controls on immigration.”
They do not seem very effective do they?
Its the Senior Citizens that I feel for as often they cannot afford to “White Flight”
from these “Multiculturaly Enriched” enclaves/ghettos which were once proud british towns and cities. How can this be good for the UK and its people? Now they call it “citizenship” and still its uncontrolled immigration. I saw a episode of Border police the other night, they stopped a guy who had no documents, because he had no papers they had to let him go into the UK but he had to report to the police station every week. Did they ever see him again? No. He should have been detained until he “remembered” his country of origin and then deported back there.
Thank you David for providing this open forum.
Andy.

I have a problem with Sharia law. A big problem. It is totally against British values and has no place in Britain. The next thing you know there will be any number of different laws. People who don’t want to abide by British laws don’t have to live there. It’s pretty much as simple as that.
Multiculturalism, sure. But no pandering to mediaeval mindsets and ancient texts. Whosever they may be.

David, I would like to thank you again for providing these pages. I have found the comments and opinions to be very varied and interesting.
Democracy is supposed to be about all these various opinions being represented in Parliament, but very few of them will be.
I noticed in the Queen’s speech, that immigration was not mentioned, or did I miss it? Government has given lip-service to Islamification from time to time, but it is plain they do not intend to do anything about it.
Beware of lip-service in the run-up to the election. “Tightening Immigration Rules” is becoming a mantra, like “Helping the unemployed”. I wish I had a pound for every time I have heard that!
I intend to ‘sign off’ from this forum now. I shall be posting no more comments,on the understanding that the forum is not going to change the outcome of the election, but I will be watching progress.
I predict a hung parliament, with the BNP holding half a dozen seats, or maybe more.
By the subsequent election (2015 or there abouts), the BNP will win outright, if immigration is not tackled meantime.
So that’s it from me. Good luck and God bless.
Long live England

Islam Is A Religion And Not A Culture So Whether Or Not You Get Rid Of Any Non Britsh People Out Of The Country N Deny Them I Garentee That There Will Styl Be Muslims In England !!…
Islam is a Religion with a Cultural imperative that it seeks to impose upon others. That this country offers a freedom that
Islamic countries do not is what allows fundamentalists to promote their hateful views and seek to impose their beliefs on others. We have laws against the promotion of hate and incitement to violence, the fact that these laws are being used against some elements of society and not others is evident. That is how a culture becomes perverted.

I agree all Muslims are not bad, however Britain does seem to have a high proportion of extremist Muslims. Most or many are 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants, eg. the London Bombers. Very few seem to want to integrate into our society which is made difficult by the strictures of their religion on diet, alcohol consumption etc.
The main problem has come with many areas of our towns & cities being literally colonized by them, they are bringing more & more of their family & friends into Britain, all of whom immediately get FULL benefits in health, education, housing & welfare, covertly helped by the current traitors in Westminster we now learn, to diffuse the original British vote & keep “nulabour” in power, allowing the traitors to feather their nests even further! The vast majority dont speak English & have no wish to learn it & consider the place they live to be part of their original homeland. They are pushing for more & more concessions to their way of life to the detriment of OUR culture. They play the “race/religion” card every time somepone tries to stop it. The current establishment panders to their every wish whilst eroding our Britiish way of life. Islamic extremists are allowed to stay here whilst being paid for & cosseted by our tax payers money! Anti British protests & marches take place with openly racist & inflamatory speeches & placards, being ignored by our politicised police “service”, doing NOTHING! Returning BRITISH troops, some of whom are wounded are instructed NOT to wear uniform in case it offends these people! Laws are now being used to ban the wearing or displaying of CHRISTIAN symbols such as crucifixes, councils are banning the use of “CHRISTMAS” to avoid offending these invaders, other councils are banning the issue of refreshments in ramadan for the same purpose! Can you imagine the reverse happening in Saudi or Pakistan, not a chance!
These are the reasons so many British people are fed up to the back teeth with the current administration, unfortunately the “media”, especially the BBC is going along with all this and actively surpresses the vast majority of stories that show any immigrant in a bad light, especially Muslims eg. the Kriss Donald murder in Scotland, where 3 Pakistani men in their 20’s kidnapped a 15 yr old white Scottish boy on the street, held him for hours whilst they tortured, stabbed & mutilated him before pouring petrol on him & setting him on fire, his crime, he was white! Then the local pakistani community helped the 3 men escape to pakistan! Nothing on the beeb or in the nationals about this, yet we continually have the pc idiots bang on about Stephen Lawrence, bad yes, but not in the same league as poor Kriss Donald for sheer horrorific cruelty!! Possibly they are scared of finishing up like Mr Van Gogh in the Netherlands and having their throat cut in the street!
The original British working man is now a SECOND CLASS citizen in his own country!

What Stupidness Are You People Talking About… Islam Is Nuttin To Do Wiv Britian … It Is A Religion Weather Or There Is Alot Of Muslims In This Country Britian Cannot Change Dat As Der Are Many British Citizens Who Are Muslims !!
I cannot decide if you are just being obtuse or having a laugh
I live in a Muslim country and I love it, I don’t have a problem with Islam as it is in fact a fairly tolerant religion and is morally stricter than the diluted Christian values in the UK at the moment.
Here, parents are married, my children are in the majority of living with both natural parents, it is against the law to have a child out of wedlock, being drunk and disorderly in public will get you a jail sentence and there is very little crime. Christmas here is much more open and celebrated than in the UK, even if it is 30 celsius!
I do have a problem with Political Islam (as do a lot of Muslims!) which is not tolerant and calls for the destruction of non-believers through Jihad. True Muslims however, recognise Jesus as a Prophet and the Prophet Mohammed told the Muslims that Jesus will return and when he does they should follow him..
The problem is not the true Muslims, it’s the political establishment who perceive that they are offending by being openly Christian that is creating the Islamification of Britain by bending over backwards to accommodate without thought that there may not in fact be any issue of real substance.
A Jordanian friend of mine visited the UK a couple of years ago and was annoyed by the fact that he was unable to experience Britain for being British. He was inundated with information on where all the nearby Mosques were and their prayer timings, all the information presented to him was in Arabic, where the local Arabic restaurants were and which Arabic-speaking staff they had available to translate for him if necessary. He asked us when he returned, “Why do you do this? It is your country yet you allow yourself to be overtaken by a compelling need to accommodate everyone else?”
The answer? Because the Government feels that just being British is offending everyone else. It is the Government which is creating the Islamification through the Racial Policies it has wrought on the indigenous population to the point that those who are committed to Political Islam exercise their new found rights to demand more and to the detriment of the Christian values.
I can live with the tolerant Islam being a minority and even feel that the moral values of the UK could do with being brought up a few notches but this isn’t what’s going to happen.

Just a short comment (I am reading everyone’s) to say that as early as 1994 when my daughter was 4 years old and had started school, I was dismayed that my daughter’s Christmas play could not be the usual Nativity play but just a “play” ie a mini version of Cinderella. My daughter is the product of myself (Christian) and my husband who is Jewish. I had hoped that she would learn about both religions and enjoy them too. So my husband, my daughter and myself were prevented to celebrate something which has always been part of my life for the sake of offending any newcomers to the country. Truth is, I WAS OFFENDED and AM OFFENDED that I was prevented from enjoying with my family this particularly CHRISTIAN belief/custom in my OWN COUNTRY. Nevermind Muslims being offended, they have (and our current government) offended me.
