Comment on Islamification of Britain by David.

“Don’t question me again because it is a ridiculous question.”

I’ll question anyone I like on this website since I own it, don’t like it, don’t contribute.

What you’ve told anyone reading this is you can’t answer the questions :-)

“and the way you are writing/speaking is unpleasant.”

And that’s what I’m aiming for, to make you feel as uncomfortable as people like you make hard working British Muslims feel all because they are Muslim! What you are doing is wrong and rooted in religious hatred.

I’m an atheist (came from a family that was loosely Christian, but not very religious) and something I know about the vast majority of religions is their roots are in a combination of hatred, control of the masses and conquest to “spread the word”.

I don’t care what religion you or anyone else believes in as long as they don’t force their religious beliefs on anyone. Currently as an atheist British law protects me from religious persecution, same as it protects Muslims and Christians, but that doesn’t stop people like you trying to stir up religious hatred because you feel threatened by something you don’t understand and probably don’t want to understand.

Christianity is no different to Islam when it comes to how it’s been spread through history. Need I remind you of the Holy Wars associated with the Crusades. That was Christians forcing their religion on various Muslim nations.

Fortunately religion is dying in our part of the world with atheism set to be the dominant ‘belief system’ in Britain, maybe by the next census in 2011 making all religions a minority belief in Britain.

Do you see me being an atheist a threat to your religion or the British way of life?

People like me are much more of a threat to Christianity in Britain than Islam will ever be. When over 50% of British people aren’t Christian do you really think 30-50 years from now our children’s children will see this country as Christian and care about the Christian faith beyond what’s become British traditions like celebrating Christmas? All three of my kids have the option to follow a religion if they want to, so far they are atheists as a choice rather than the usual slipping of religion from our society over time as Christians don’t really follow their faith.
