@Sue: Why is it only Islam which is intolerant beyond belief may I ask? Any religion or rather the followers of a religion have the capacity for intolerance as much as those who don’t follow a religion. In fact intolerance comes down the person and has nothing to do with religion. Who are you to define what is 21st century values and what isn’t, you didn’t include an example so I’m assuming you don’t have a good idea. I dislike how you have an “us” and “them” mentality because its literally those walls that cause these rifts between cultures and hence this whole discussion in the first place. And btw isn’t Wafa Sultan’s argumets centred against those who haven’t adapted their beliefs to a modern way of thinking rather than all Islam as a whole. People have nothing to be worried about religion because religion isn’t the problem it’s people like you who like to spread unrequired panic, fear and intolerance in order to erect barriers between people.
