Comment on Islamification of Britain by Sarah.

I live in a Muslim country and I love it, I don’t have a problem with Islam as it is in fact a fairly tolerant religion and is morally stricter than the diluted Christian values in the UK at the moment.

Here, parents are married, my children are in the majority of living with both natural parents, it is against the law to have a child out of wedlock, being drunk and disorderly in public will get you a jail sentence and there is very little crime. Christmas here is much more open and celebrated than in the UK, even if it is 30 celsius!

I do have a problem with Political Islam (as do a lot of Muslims!) which is not tolerant and calls for the destruction of non-believers through Jihad. True Muslims however, recognise Jesus as a Prophet and the Prophet Mohammed told the Muslims that Jesus will return and when he does they should follow him..

The problem is not the true Muslims, it’s the political establishment who perceive that they are offending by being openly Christian that is creating the Islamification of Britain by bending over backwards to accommodate without thought that there may not in fact be any issue of real substance.

A Jordanian friend of mine visited the UK a couple of years ago and was annoyed by the fact that he was unable to experience Britain for being British. He was inundated with information on where all the nearby Mosques were and their prayer timings, all the information presented to him was in Arabic, where the local Arabic restaurants were and which Arabic-speaking staff they had available to translate for him if necessary. He asked us when he returned, “Why do you do this? It is your country yet you allow yourself to be overtaken by a compelling need to accommodate everyone else?”

The answer? Because the Government feels that just being British is offending everyone else. It is the Government which is creating the Islamification through the Racial Policies it has wrought on the indigenous population to the point that those who are committed to Political Islam exercise their new found rights to demand more and to the detriment of the Christian values.

I can live with the tolerant Islam being a minority and even feel that the moral values of the UK could do with being brought up a few notches but this isn’t what’s going to happen.
