Too many British people work shy? Poppycock.

A British person presenting reasonable proof they have at least the minimum standard of
education required to do the menial job (i.e. a catering assistant or a cleaner).
are debarred by the public sector employers if:

They cannot supply the all the required references.
They do not have the required permit
They do not have the required licence
They do not have the required NVQ
They do not have the required experience
They cannot supply ALL the required proofs of ID

A foreigner need only supply their work permit and foreign certificates, (which are always accepted as compatable without checking).

The minimum wage on offer is non enhanced for working conditional overtime, alternate and variable
night/day shifts, or on any day of the week,regardless of public bank holidays.

(These are the working conditions a lot of unskilled immigrants are willing to accept and private employers exploit it).
