The Tories are clearly of the opinion that they can rely on the Sutton Coldfield seat, so much that they needn’t bother listening to the people they are meant to serve.
I’ve worked as a newspaper photographer for several years around North East Birmingham. I used to cover Walsall, Great Barr and Sutton. At one point, two weeks would not pass, without me covering an event where I would meet the MPs, Khalid Mahmood for Perry Barr and David Winnick or Bruce George for Walsall.
However, I have never covered an event or done a single photo-call in Sutton Coldfield, where Andrew Mitchell was present.
