To Work or Not to Work – That is the Question

The Coalition Government is planning on slashing fixed state retirement age from 65, this means no longer will employers be able to sack people just because they’re old.

It will become law in october and will give OAP’s the choice to retire or continue working.

This is a great abolition of ageism in the workplace, this has settled perfectly between forcing people to retire at 65 and forcing them to work past that age.

This is what it should have been before the switch in government, also if an employer sacks someone because of their age they have to award that person financial compensation.
