If A Petfer had lived through the 1930s as I did he would know that it was a Tory government that temporised with Hitler and the editor of the Tory supporting Daily Mail who thought Hitler the best thing since Genghis Khan. Lord Rothemere highly approved Hitler’s annexation of surrounding states!!
