HIPs scrapped ? The tories will put approx 30000 people currently employed in HIPs market OUT OF WORK !!
A better idea would be to reinstate the HOME CONDITION REPORT & let buyers read more about the property for sale prior to wasting money on aborted purchases. Remove Estate Agents from the HIPs process ~ they should only get involved when a HIP is in place
The trained Home Inspectors could also be deployed to inspect the current social & MOD housing stock
