BNP Beaten by the Conservatives, and Glasgow is known as a VERY non Conservative area in fact they hate the Tories I think it would be far to say.
So the BNP didn’t exactly get a resounding success in Glasgow North East then did they.
Infact they lost the deposit with just 4.9% of the vote, so again there is no up-surge in support for the BNP they basically stuck to their average of under 5% of the vote.
So I wouldn’t be shouting a success when the Tories beat you in an area that the ories NEVER do well in.
