Francis – believe it or not, most (reasonable) people do not want to be associated with something that is violent. There are humane ways to deal with most things – why do you feel that any violence is required to prove a point?
Your point about wrapping children in cotton wool is one that does ring true in certain aspects and it is important that children are aware of where their food comes from and how we produce it. We also seem to have become more of a claim culture whereby eveyone else is to blame for things but ourselves, and we are always looking for payouts – however, this particular trend is more American in theme, so hardly a commie philosophy.
Your point on fox hunting is odd – by protesting against are you saying people are weak? In that case – seeing as fox hunting was banned do you believe the weak are now strong, having defeated the likes of people with your attitude and it is they that hold the reins? Also, a long time ago – I will hark back to the ‘good old days’ of the British Empire as that is where your mentality appears to lie – slavery helped this country to flourish – I assume you are saddened that that particular tradition also died……….
Traidtions and ways of life have changed through the ages and mankind has adapted – if you want Britain to be a country all controlling and powerful throughout the world with no morals with regards to using violence then you may be better moving abroad to some tin pot country under dictatorship that keeps their poeple in place – as that is what you seem to wish to do to a majority of the population in this country. Oops, but then they would not be democratic – they could even be commies…..
