I have lived in a rural area where fox hunting was rife and I can confidently say that most people in the villages were against it. Since the ban (and rightly so) there has been no change to the communities with reference to jobs. The only difference is a few moaning toffs in the village pub.
I have also been to a few hunts, not to lick red coat backside either. The way people are treated by the ‘masters’ whether you are a sabateur, a resident, a road user or just simply enjoying a day out, who happens to oppose their actions, is disgraceful to say the very least. To say it is a british tradition makes me laugh! It may be so for a minority of toffs but where I come from it isn’t. To quote the red coat in the above video, ” If I want to smash your car I will because I am entitled to” just sums up these people.
