I love the idea of compulsory ID cards. Lets have five years of this & arm the police too. Anyone found on the streets after a cut off date & without a card should be liable to summary execution. Thus saving the tax payer the vast cost of lengthy court battles & or hundreds of thousands of air fares to return for the no longer welcome.
Repeal the smoking ban, the less pensions we need to pay the better.
Means test child benefit.
The main problem here is Heathrow will be horrendously busy for a few weeks prior to my earlier mentioned cut off date.
