Watched Question Time the other night and a young man in the audience said: “The longer we can avoid David Cameron the better.” And there was a big applause, think the biggest of the program, see around 3 minutes 30 seconds of the Question Time clip below: There was also a very funny joke by […]
Continue Reading Can Labour Win the General Election?
and Finchley is a Labour seat – wow.
If Labour do manage to pull it off it’s either Australian or Canadian citizenship for us!
I sincerely hope not, but will the benefit society and civil servants remain loyal to their paymasters…?
If the Conservatives win I will return to the UK.
Anyone who votes for the present government after the harm they have done fully deserve the outcome, if they win, and I Will stay here
I agree with these sentiments. For me, it’s a case of vote for anyone, with the odd exception, except Labour.
We simply can’t have five more years of this – but then I said that in 2001 when there was no chance of a change, and in 2005 when there was at least an outside possibility of a hung parliament.
Third time lucky??

Doesn’t it seem odd that all the Tory voters live abroad and contribute nothing to Britain, exactly like their party leaders who invest their wealth in foreign banks?!? Great patriotism!!! Contribute nothing to a country you “love”!!! Did you all leave after Thatcher (title omitted as she didn’t earn it)sold all our jobs and money abroad??
Just a thought…

We left after around 8 years of Labour; glad to have done it and wouldn’t be happy to pay our extremely hard-earned taxes to another Labour Government.
This next election decides for us whether we will ever return to the UK. We continue to pay National Insurance for the time being but that is pretty much it.

Please don’t come back – this sentiment to all those who don’t live here but are happy to have a go at people who despite all their faults are much closer to the people here than you could ever be
I don’t suppose you pay taxes here so you have no right to have any say on the matter.
Just vote Labour and we won’t!!
Canada and America are very interested in our skills.
As an expat, I’m entitled to vote for another 10 years and will do so.
We still pay National Insurance, so thanks but I retain my right to say what I like about why we left and whether we decide to come back.

Sarah in the desert a moron, do you realise conservative is so anti-immigrants ao what ru doing in other people’s land come back home and be with you conservative leaders so u vote for them and stop paying tax , send immingrants where they came from, then u will realise they had somuch input into thos country. Mind you loads of them here would rather sit on their arses saying they cant find jobs and spend benefits coming from immigrants paying tax as they are (most immingrants) not entitled to benefits.

hopefully they will all go back to where they came from and stop using all the facilities we paid in for.
i hope not it would be a big disaster if labour win this election i would say we need a fresh change a conservative goverment would at least sort out this mess remember the country was in good shape in 1997 yes it will be worth it in the long run
