I am a teacher and totally disagree with your comment. I work in Easterhouse, a very deprived area in Glasgow. If you are good at your job and work with the children and not against them then you earn respect. Too many people talk about education matters when they do not have first hand experience of it. David Cameron should spend more time discussing things he knows about and stop scare mongering. I understand schools have problems but the reasons for these problems is due to lack of funds, increasing class sizes, lack of ecudcation suppose for children with learning problems, lack of classroom assistants etc etc. If a Tory government was to get into government i can promise you that the education problem in this country will worsen as it will be the first place cuts will be made and from personal experience resources are already stretched to the max.
