A Quick FACToid;
A Economic Migrant: They CANNOT claim any state benefits for there first year in this country, they have to earn a wage and pay tax and NI, they have NO entitlement to JSA/Income Support etc. I do wish the BNP supporters would get this fact in to their rather thick heads.
Economic Migrants can claim Tax Credits to top up a low wage just like any other British person is allowed to do.
Asylum Seekers are VERY VERY Different from Immigrants and get benefits:
Fact: A single, adult asylum seeker aged 18-24, receives a maximum of £30.84 a week to live on. (£38.96 for over 25’s). This is 1/3 of support for pensioners and 30% below income support levels – the accepted poverty line.
One day the BNP Faction may realise the difference.
