Comment on BNP Immigration Policy by EP.

‘Fourteen percent of all primary school children do not have English as a mother tongue.’…? I obviously don’t have the same mindset as the majority of BNP voters, but am I the only one who can’t see why this is a bad thing? What happened to multicultural communities and learning from people with different backgrounds? Are you really saying that these kids being able to speak more than one language is a bad thing!? I can’t begin tell you how much teenagers are being pressured into taking a language GCSE or A-level these days, what’s wrong with the people who can already speak another language? Yes, they’ve come from another country and grew up speaking another language. Who cares!? Countrys all around the world are teaching English in their schools – most children can speak it fluently, a notion so different from our country’s children, where we expect everyone to speak english for us *ahem*…And you’re acting as if immigrants are taking over, like some kind of army! It’s really not the case. They aren’t evil, or unmoral, they just want to live here. Can’t we be proud that we have a desirable country (not that I understand why, considering…) and do our best to act welcoming to those we can accomodate? And although I’m not religious in any sense…this is a Christian country, and I’m pretty sure that the underlying tones of racism in the majority of these policies is NOT Chrisitan-like. Forgive me for any spelling mistakes…English isn’t my mother tongue. (Joke, for those who can’t understand it…)
