Comment on BNP Immigration Policy by David.

The BNP immigration policies are NOT commonsense, quite the opposite they make no sense at all (AKA: nonsense).

It’s not commonsense to completely stop immigration, possibly for ever (BNP policy doesn’t have a restart date) when we have a current shortage of skilled British workers that’s not been getting better: some current Labour policies (aiming for 50% of young people in training/education for example) might help long term, but it will take decades to reverse the current trend that was started by the Conservatives when the wrecked apprenticeships!

A commonsense policy would be we stop unskilled workers entering Britain, not skilled workers.

Imagine what Britain would be like if we had the BNP immigration policy for the last 10 years, the NHS would not have the staff we have now and waiting times would be as bad as it was under the last Conservative government!

Labour’s been way to lax on immigration, but the old saying:

“Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water”

Always comes to mind when I read BNP policies. Yes we need much stronger controls on immigration, but the BNP take it way too far: I guess they have to they are on the fringes of British politics, the far, far right of politics.
