Well sorry, but if that wasn’t done just about everyone in this country would have lost all of their money.
The banks needed it (I don’t agree they needed as much as they were given) but the fact remains that if it wasn’t done the country would be in recession for far far longer than it is now.
If you have a savings account the chances of you loosing all that money were vVERY high if the banks had been left to fail.
Just a fact.
