According to the British National Party website the British National Party will try to achieve the following if they gain power at the 2010 general election:
The British National Party is this nation’s only true Green party which has policies that will actually save the environment.
Unlike the fake “Greens” who are merely a front for the far left of the Labour regime, the BNP is the only party to recognise that overpopulation – whose primary driver is immigration, as revealed by the government’s own figures – is the cause of the destruction of our environment.
Furthermore, the BNP’s manifesto states that a BNP government will make it a priority to stop building on green land. New housing should wherever possible be built on derelict “brown land.”
Other environmentally friendly policies which the BNP has in its manifesto include:
– The removal of unsightly overhead power lines from beauty spots and their burial underground;
– The creation of a bulk transport tax regime that pushes supermarkets to supply more local and seasonal produce;
– The encouragement of an extensive and rapid switchover to organic and low fossil fuel farming techniques;
– The banning of the ritual slaughter of animals without pre-stunning, and the sale of such meat;
– The elimination of the unhealthy, energy intensive and cruel factory farming of livestock;
– The abolition of all “stealth taxes” and other charges on household rubbish collections.
Britain is one of the most densely populated countries in the world and our population is increasing — due entirely to immigration — which necessitates the building of ever more homes, which in turn places a strain on our infrastructure such as transport and water supplies.
Independent environmental organisations believe that Britain’s population needs to be significantly reduced. Our immigration policies will achieve this.
Together with independent environmental organisations the BNP recognises that Britain’s environmentally sustainable carrying capacity is substantially lower than its present population.
With regard to the transport problem and the environmental impact it has, BNP policy is also refreshingly different.
A BNP government will:
– Develop alternative transport fuels such as bio-diesel and hydrogen;
– Develop renewable energy sources such as off-shore wind farms, wave, tidal and solar energy;
– Investigate the feasibility of cutting-edge, intrinsically-safe, fast-breeder nuclear stations;
– Invest in a high-speed, magnetic levitation, inter-city rail network;
– Allow the building of a new privately-funded airport on reclaimed land in the Thames estuary to reduce the pressure on, and stop the constant expansion of, the South East’s airports.
Oil and gas are finite resources, rapidly being depleted. Prices are going to continue to rise significantly and this will place a heavy burden on both industry and private consumers. Furthermore, as we are becoming increasingly dependent on energy from unstable and potentially unfriendly foreign powers we are becoming ever more vulnerable to economic blackmail or even harm. ‘Peak Oil’ is a clear and imminent danger to our economy and society, so Britain needs to invest in new technologies and be broadly self-sufficient in terms of energy.
Finally, the BNP accepts that climate change, of whatever origin, is a threat to Britain. Current evidence suggests that some of it may be man-made; even if this is not the case, then the principle of ‘better safe than sorry’ applies and we should try to minimise the emission of greenhouse gases and other pollutants.
The time has come for change.

I would be interested to hear both positive and negative views on BNP’s Environment policies in the comments below?
The International Climate Change Treaty at Copenhagen
Lord Viscount Monckton of Brenchley joins us live from the Copenhagen Climate Conference to reveal the legal underbelly of this event, and to share his take on the entire new international power deal being sealed in Denmark. The focus of this conference is the introduction of one of the most critical International Frameworks outside of the Lisbon Treaty, the EU and the New Call for a World Banking System and Currency.
If you want to hear the single most controversial figure in the Climate Change arena – one who is well-grounded in the evolution of the IPCC and the Science itself, who understands and has read the new legal framework which is about to be signed – please tune in.

Just a link id like to share with you and comments appreciated on this matter thank you xxx
Very interesting document Brit girl, Ive downloaded a copy to email my friends.
A few highlights-
For a list of leading scientists and researchers who disagree with the alarmist
viewpoint, go to www.climatedepot.com and you’ll find a list of some 700 leading
scientists. Or contact the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine, which lists
31,000+ scientists of all disciplines, around 40% of them Ph.Ds, and 50% of them
in relevant fields, who disagree with the so-called unanimous “consensus”. Not
that science is done by consensus anyway, as Al-Haytham pointed out a thousand
years ago.
Speak to the American Association of State Climatologists about those
who have actually been dismissed by State governors for daring to
suggest that “global warming” was largely nonsense. Also, Dr. Willie
Soon of Harvard has been repeatedly driven out into ever-smaller offices
and now has to work outside the campus of the Harvard-Smithsonian
Institute for Astrophysics, to which he is attached, because he does not
believe in “global warming”. Marc Morano of Climate Depot may be able
to give you further details. The two editors of Physics and Society were
both sacked merely for printing a devastating paper (by me) last year
that explained the rickety methods the UN uses to calculate the effect of
CO2 on temperature.
Skeptical scientists will definitely not be welcome in Copenhagen. At one
of the preliminary conferences in Copenhagen, Dr. Mitch Taylor, the world’s
foremost expert on the polar bear, was excluded from the polar-bear discussion
group on the stated ground that he did not believe “global warming” was having
or would have any adverse effect on polar bears whatsoever.
The total power produced by all 2,300 turbines in
Britain amounts on average to a mere 900 megawatts, barely the output of one
medium-size conventional power station.
Ironically, the concrete required to install the turbine – often at a depth of over
100 feet, is one of the largest sources of CO2 emissions.
The four agencies that track Earth’s temperature (the Hadley Climate Research
Unit in Britain, the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, the
Christy group at the University of Alabama, and Remote Sensing Systems Inc in
California) report that the global temperature cooled by approximately 0.7oC in
2007 – the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record, putting the
Earth back to where it was in 1930. If it continued for 20 years, the temperature
would be 14oC cooler in 2027.

Media led World government CO2 scam
https://bnp.org.uk/policies/environment/
University of East Anglia academics at centre of global warming hysteria in new fraud scandal. It is emerging from Russia that the U E A Climate Research Unit has been caught red handed manipulating the data from Russian weather stations.
This huge scandal will pile on the pressure now building for a no holds barred review of the entire global warming theory, especially in view of the vast sums of money involved in the carbon credits and carbon capture scams, and the personal financial interests of key individuals such as carbon billionaire Al Gore and wind factory shareholder Chris Davies.

Monckton says COP15 could set up the mechanism for a world government
Australian Conservative writes –
The big danger of Copenhagen is that there will be an agreement that will include the mechanisms of what could very easily become a world government, Lord Christopher Monckton said earlier this week.

Im interested to know how the BNP plan on developing bio-diesel or hydrogen fuel on a level that would be able to sustain the whole country. It appears to me throughout there policies they seem to think that if the just say things, they will happen! Like suggesting they can end tensions in Northen Ireland or magic up nuclear power plants. It’s ridiculous they seem to be all talk but no concrete plan.
