According to the British National Party website the British National Party will try to achieve the following if they gain power at the 2010 general election:
Britain once led the world in education and technology – and can do so again, but only if it follows some basic rules to rebuild its educational system in such a way that it nurtures the innate genius which lies in our nation’s youth.
The problems with the British educational system are well known to all. Simply put, the British educational system is not working. Exams have been dumbed down and while more students are obtaining meaningless bits of paper, employers are complaining that graduates cannot spell.
“Citizenship” lessons are a euphemism for political indoctrination. Discipline has collapsed, trendy teaching methods have failed and schools face a crisis. The abolition of grants and introduction of fees for university students has hit poor children hardest, while soft, useless subjects are replacing the hard sciences of value to Britain.
In short, this nation stands before an educational abyss, and only the British National Party has the educational policy designed to pull it back from the brink.
The BNP’s policy consists of the following building blocks:
– The restoration of discipline – including corporal punishment – uniforms, traditional teaching methods and stricter exams (e.g. ‘0′ levels);
– The reintroduction of grammar schools with entrance exams at 11 and 13;
– The reversal of the programme to close special needs schools which penalises the most vulnerable;
– The reintroduction of competitive sports and daily Christian assemblies;
– The teaching of old-fashioned literacy skills (as opposed to clearly failed “modern” teaching methods);
– The teaching of old-fashioned mathematics skills which have practical application to everyday life;
– The teaching of a full curriculum of British history. This will instil in our young people knowledge of and pride in the history, cultures and heritage of the native peoples of Britain, and not the cherry-picked politically correct drivel being fed to children today;
– The abolition of fees and the restoration of full grants to university students studying proper subjects (as opposed to fake “social sciences”);
– The improvement of school food as proper meals have been shown to be linked to behaviour and achievement;
– The ending of the scandalous and racist neglect that has left working class white boys at the bottom of the table for academic achievement;
– The introduction of tax breaks for home-schooling parents or direct subsidies as their fair share of the education budget;
– The introduction of a compulsory Community Award Scheme for all school-leavers to teach them work ethics and social and community values. This would consist of work caring for the elderly or handicapped people, or environmental or heritage restoration projects, or military training. These courses would be character-building and instil discipline, social and community values and work ethics in all young people. Service in this scheme would entitle each individual to get ’something back’ from the society to which they have learnt to contribute, such as free university education, a properly supported apprenticeship, or business training and start-up capital for would-be entrepreneurs.
Britain can be great once again – with the BNP’s plan to rescue this nation’s educational system
The time has come for change.

I would be interested to hear both positive and negative views on BNP’s Education policies in the comments below?
Again a quick post to ensure people understand that the Marxist influence in our education system is increasing daily, apparently History & Geography are to be replaced by “citizenship, blogging & the like”. Councils are funding African history awareness weeks, Muslim culture, celebrations of Eid etc whilst neglecting OUR history and culture. Many schools have banned carol services & christmas celebrations & in some cases have forced non Muslim children to learn about that religion, in some cases punishing white children who refused to carry out Muslim prayes whist kneeling & facing east!
In Swindon teachers were afraid to discipline muslim pupils who were disruptive for fear of the “RACE CARD” , which led to a white pupil being attacked with a claw hammer in the school grounds whilst teachers did NOTHING. The headmaster refused to acknowledge there was a problem!

Thanks K williams
Enlightening us with more true facts. Something the mainstream media fail on BIG TIME!
For some reason your story seems exactly that a story a piece of fiction that has seemed to be exaggerated immensely. The sad thing is some people actually believe this rubbish. Why would a student be attacked in the school playground and the head teacher not do anything about it. If what you are saying was the slightest bit true then there would have been a rebellion in every school not just between the white boys you always talk about but with the black boys and teachers and the whole country for that matter because its not fair for anyone to be attacked and for the authorities not to do anything about it. Another thing is you never talk about the white girls at schools why is that I wonder is it because you think women are second class citizens and don’t deserve the right to be acknowledged a fair and equal education to boys. The BNP don’t even include girls in their policies just the boys. Further more they mention a free university education how does the BNP expect to do that when not even the best political parties can’t promise such a thing.

Dear Mr Williams, if you honestly think ‘citizenship, blogging and the like’ is going to replace History and Geography then you clearly have nothing of worth to say on Education. Get out from under that rock and start living in the real world where this strange thing called logic rules over conspiracy theories.
No schools have punished students for failing to observe any non-Christian rituals aside from schools based on other faiths, which hardly seems unreasonable, and I’d love to see your sources for the rest of those ‘facts’ of yours. They stink of BNP propaganda.

test all children for “school readiness” and retest them every year in order to go up. this way everyone will know from the beginning that they have to learn in order to get on in life and work hard.
keep all religion out of schools.
bring back discipline. make the child responsible for his wrong doing. if that’s not possible then discipline the parents.

Just thought I’d drop a quick post here with ref to
“The abolition of fees and the restoration of full grants to university students studying proper subjects (as opposed to fake “social sciences”);”
The LibDems have the same policy and have today admitted it would take six years to impliment and would end up costing 7.5 billion a year for the state to pay for all students that want to go in to further education.
So we’d have to therefore assume that the same cost would be incured under a BNP Government.

Social Science is something the BNP no nothing bout and lack heavily. Subjects like social science include history, geography, politics, psychology ect. Without those subjects at A level or at university what do you have not alot.
History is not a social science. Social sciences are sociology, politics, criminology etc. Either way, what a ridiculous notion! I’m a joint honours undergraduate student studying History & Politics and I find the two complimentary. I come from a lower socio-economic background, but I’m heading for a First Class Honours Degree because of the state, which I intend to pay back in full. Every person I know in my situation feels indebted to the state, an accepts fees subsidies are a part of that.
This may be a bit off topic, but didn’t Nick Griffin get a 2:2 in his “proper” subject, History?

“The reintroduction of competitive sports”
I have no problem with competitive sports.
Last time I checked kids still play football, rugby, cricket… in school and I understand despite never being in any of the national teams :-) they are competitive sports?
So what does this BNP policy achieve, we already have competitive sports in school?

I think this is more in terms of things like the old-fashioned sports day.
Giving those more athletic kids a chance to shine!
My daughters first sports day (in the UK) was some kind of team effort building an octopus or something like that. It was nice to get out and back to the old fashioned egg”n”spoon race, the sack race, etc.

What does the BNP mean when they say competitive sports they should really be clear on what they say becuase last time I checked competitive sports already exist and existed long before the BNP. Competitive sports shouldn’t discourage other peoples confidence and ability but I wouldn’t put that past the BNP.

“The reintroduction of daily Christian assemblies”
I have no problem with religion: I’m an atheist who believes everyone has a right to peacefully follow any belief they choose.
“Daily Christian assemblies”, what does this mean, how far will this policy go? Is it back to how it used to be when I was at school (20+ years ago)?
I came from a family though not overly religious, did believe in a Christian God. I went to normal schools where I was forced to sit through Christian assemblies despite at an early age (before my teens) realising I did not believe in a God. I was told I’d have to be a Mormon to not participate in the Christian assemblies!
It was wrong then to force children to be part of religious Christian assembly in school and it is still wrong now.
We do not all believe in the same thing, I understand over half our population are no longer religious and those that are have a mixture of religious beliefs, why should one religious faith (Christianity) be forced on all children?
The BNP complain that Muslims will take over Britain and force the Qur’an on us, so in response the BNP want Christians to take over and force Christianity on us!!! How is that different/better for those who have no religious belief or believe in a different religion?
I have no problem with a parent deciding their child should be Christian/Muslim (whatever), but I have a BIG problem with the government forcing a particular religion on it’s people!
Religion and politics should not mix.
Do NOT vote BNP if you agree with freedom to follow your own religious beliefs.
BTW one of my sites: https://king-james-bible.classic-literature.co.uk/ (only 15 in Google for the search “King James Bible”, used to do much better). And yes I’ve read some of the Bible, not all of it, but enough to make informed decisions.

Granted, working class white children do need to have their lot in life improved, but it’s not the system that’s letting them down- it’s the attitudes instilled in them by the culture they grow up in. By the time they get to school, it’s often too late.

there are three causes, which the BNP deal, with, which the other partys, refuse to deal with,
Material cause =what is it made from genetic balance to produce organic life as being,balance = goodness
Formal cause ,shape of form,MAN
Efficent cause =Who shaped the flesh to form,the being
Final cause= goal of form and matter= honoring , mind kind
READ UP ON OBJECTIVE TRUTH = NATURE OF OBJECT/
