Comment on BNP Policies : BNP Democracy Policy by David.

BNP immigration policy states the following:

“- Deport all the two million plus who are here illegally;”

Good, they are here illegally so if they can be found they should be deported. Note the BNP don’t say how they will find all these illegal immigrants?

All the parties have this sort of immigration policy on illegal immigrants.

“- Deport all those who commit crimes and whose original nationality was not British;”

Again no problem with this, though would depend on the crime (shouldn’t deport someone for a parking ticket). Labour have a similar policy now, but it’s not working so needs making stronger so it’s not costing us money to deport a criminal.

“- Review all recent grants of residence or citizenship to ensure they are still appropriate;”

What! No government should look at “recent” (how recent, the BNP mention wanting to take Britain back to the 1940s?) immigrants that are now legally British, they are here legally and should not be removed because the BNP don’t like immigrants.

So you are right Nick, it’s not “they will deport anyone who is not a British citizen” they plan to deport British citizens after they remove their right to be a British citizen!!! In effect deporting more illegal immigrants as the BNP plan to change the rules so more legal immigrants are illegal!

That is an awful policy.

“- Offer generous grants to those of foreign descent resident here who wish to leave permanently;”

If you look into this it could cost over £50,000 to persuade foreign settlers in Britain to leave with their family. The BNP see this as the answer to population control so must be looking at millions taking up these “generous grants”. If just 1 million families leave Britain under this scheme it could cost the country

£50,000,000,000

£50 billion!!!

In return we loose skilled workers like doctors, nurses, engineers… that would cost the economy even more long term.

That is a really poorly thought out policy, they have a similar policy in Denmark and it’s not working, costing a small fortune to remove a small number of people for no good reason other than they don’t like immigrants!

“- Stop all new immigration except for exceptional cases;”

Why do we not want highly skilled foreign workers? and don’t tell me they’d come under the “exceptional cases”, if there are groups that won’t be stopped they should be listed up front?

UKIP have a policy of stopping immigration for 5 years except for skilled workers we need. I could live with that policy.

I can accept unskilled migrant workers should be avoided, but we need skilled workers for the 21st century industries otherwise Britain will be left behind. If our young people won’t get a decent education and training (it’s available for those that work hard), we have to rely of migrant workers who are willing to get off their arses and work for us for a better standard of living.

Reading the majority of what BNP supporters write on my site they clearly don’t have a very good education. BNP supporters might not see education and training in highly skilled industries as important, but it is vital to our countries long term success and if you won’t train for these jobs we have to hire in foreign workers.

If you left school with a poor education and since leaving school haven’t gained some training for something other than an unskilled job that’s your failing not the governments.

If we stopped all immigration and removed loads of legal immigrants if you are poorly educated and untrained you still aren’t going to get a decent job.

So BNP supporters please stop blaming foreigners for your failings in not getting on in life.

“- Reject all asylum seekers who passed safe countries on their way to Britain.”

That would mean we have 0 asylum seekers since we are an island and have no countries bordering us where their citizens need asylum.

I think we should take a share of asylum seekers, that’s a responsibility of being a developed nation, we can help those in need.

However, I agree there’s an issue with asylum seekers sneaking their way into Britain and then applying for asylum. We have British consulates all over the world and when a person enters our consulate they are in effect on British land and protected under our laws.

A better policy would be to no longer accept any asylum seekers that enter our borders illegally and insist they apply at a British consulate that is relatively close to their country of origin.

This would protect genuine asylum seekers and stop the small abuse of the system where economic migrants caught entering our borders say they are seeking asylum which costs us a lot of money proving they are not. Remove the loop hole, but protect genuine asylum seekers.
