Patriotism is another word for narrow mindedness.

I am not a patriotic person (and I probably never will be) as I like to see through the country’s borders and see the world as one big country with many cultures. Sharia law will never be enforced as it would infringe on too many other cultures, it’s the same sense as enforcing some dark age Christian law.

I personally don’t value tradition that much, the way I see it tradition is looking in the past, and by not valuing it I’m looking to the future. While I agree some traditions may be marginally beneficial they’re mostly there either to make money or just to remind you of your nationality.
