Australia’s first Prime Minister – We had ours in the 80’s
I know this is a UK political website but I couldn’t resist commenting on their first female Prime Minister of Australia. Julia Gillard Replaces Kevin Rudd in the Australian General Election 2010 I’m glad for them (Even though I miss Kevin basically because his un-Prime Ministerial name) they’ve made the step and it’s in the right direction.
Australia has had weird PM’s like Bob Hawke who broke the world record (at the time) for drinking a yard of ale (a long glass that contains around 2.5 pints) in 11 seconds, and he became an Australian Prime Minister :D. (Only in Australia that would happen).
Hows about next I’ll vote for a Kangaroo, Dingo or an Alligator :D

Thanks for taking note about our first female prime minister … and why would u vote for a kangaroo, dingo or alligator? strange person.
It would be cool to have an Australian Animal talking to the nation and it’s people, it would be the most interesting speech in all of politics.
Unless we have a break through in animal genetics I’m 99.99% sure that it wouldn’t happen but it would be hilarious.
