Comment on Are the BNP Racists? by David.

You might be surprised to learn I don’t have a big issue with the BNP only wanting white members.

Isn’t representing everyone the whole point of having different political parties and so many MP’s, as a whole they can represent all the people in Britain? To take an example a politician can’t be both anti-abortion and pro choice at the same time!

Although as a political party in law they are supposed to represent everyone, the reality is no politician can seriously represent everyone (they all have an agenda). I understand why we have the law, but in practice no political party can represent everyone, so though it’s an important concept as a law, in practice it means nothing.

Even if thousands of ethnic minorities joined the BNP, would the BNP change their policies? I suspect the answer is no.

If the BNP only want to represent white people, that’s fine by me, I won’t vote for them as the colour of my skin isn’t a big political issue for ME.

I don’t understand why the BNP have a problem with allowing non-whites to join the party, I thought the BNP are now happy with non-whites who have adapted to our way of life? For example why couldn’t black people born in Britain join? It’s the British National Party, not the White National Party, colour of skin shouldn’t be a factor.

It’s not like thousands of blacks/Asians etc… who want to import another culture over ours are going to even want to join (the BNP are perceived as racist).

Seems the BNP are fighting this on principle rather than on the reality of the situation and considering the money they will have wasted in legal fees, it’s stupid: best to fight the fights that are important and are winnable, is who can join really that important (beyond principle)?

When the government wastes money on stupid things, the BNP supporters are up in arms about it (quite rightly so), why does your party not save it’s money for important things like paying for more candidates to sit next year?
