According to the UK Independence Party website UKIP will try to achieve the following if they gain power at the 2010 general election:
Russia is now more prosperous and is becoming stridently nationalist. Russian armed forces are not what they were, but are still considerable and are being modernised. Although the direct threat to the UK is low it still has to be watched. Defence against a Russian threat is a NATO responsibility – UKIP policy is that British Armed Forces must be maintained at an appropriate level and effectiveness to play its part in any possible threat to the NATO Alliance.
I would be interested to hear both positive and negative views on UK Independence Party’s Russia policies in the comments below?
UKIP have some very strong policies and are the only alternative to the 3 other major parties that are weak on defence and foreign policies. That allow unrestricted immigration. UKIP will have a strong positive on immigration, law, defence and foreign policies. SO vote UKIP whenever you can.
