Why should the parties who won the fewest seats assume they have the right to form a government? It is hardly logical to say that the combined votes of all other parties give them a mandate to govern – if those who voted Lib Dems wanted a Labour government then they should have voted Labour. It cannot be considered democractic to ignore the wishes of those people who gave the Conservatives the largest single number of seats. And if it weren’t for the Scottish vote, The Tories would have a majority of over 100 seats.
