News that Jeremy Bamber, who murdered five members of his family, has been granted an appeal by the Grand Chamber of Europe’s human rights court has been met with disgust by UKIP.

Speaking after the decision, Party Leader Nigel Farage said: UKIP leader Nigel Farage MEP said: “The European Court is interfering yet again with British justice.

“Time and time again it opposes the decisions of our Government and the judgements of our courts.

“Now it has decided to help some of our most infamous murderers, including Jeremy Bamber. They committed heinous crimes and yet the court is reviewing whether or not it is just to keep them behind bars for the rest of their lives.

“Life should mean life, whatever Euro-judges say and I’m sure the victims’ families would agree with me.”
